The Assistant Senior Manager of FedEx's Romeoville ground operations will be leading us on this comprehensive tour of one of the newest FedEx ground facilities in the US. Custom built from the "ground" up less than 5 years ago, this innovative, state of the art facility is about to expand another 30,000 sq ft to consolidate home delivery with ground operations. We'll get birds-eye views from the catwalks and inside information on topics like avoiding bottlenecks, the latest in automation, and labeling technology.

This is a GMP facility, so please make sure you are GMP compliant and wearing closed toe shoes.  Other necessary personal protective equipment will be provided by FedEx.

All attendees must provide their first and last names, occupation, and employer name in advance of the tour.  This is a secure facility.  Please make sure your profile in the APICS Chapter database includes this information.  Attendees who have not provided all of this information will not be allowed into the facility.
