Join us for our annual Economic Outlook Networking Event, where two insightful speakers—Dr. Edward F. Stuart and Richard Gendon—return to share their perspectives on the forces shaping the U.S. and global economy in 2026.

“We’re always in uncharted territory in Macroeconomics,” Dr. Stuart often reminds us and this year, with a new U.S. administration implementing sweeping changes and markets reacting with volatility, his observation feels especially timely. The basic question remains: Up or Down – Which way will the U.S. Economy be headed?

Dr. Stuart, a seasoned economist with a Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma, brings decades of academic and international experience to his analysis. His work spans from guest professorships in Russia, China, and Austria to his acclaimed course Capitalism vs. Socialism: Comparing Economic Systems from The Great Courses. Expect Dr. Stuart’s hallmark mix of depth, wit, and clarity as he unpacks today’s economic signals and what they might mean for tomorrow.

Joining him is Richard Gendon, Managing Director of the Center for Professional Management and a longtime consultant specializing in strategy, supply chain, and operations management. With over 40 years of experience and service on multiple professional boards, including ASCM-Chicagoland, Mr. Gendon brings a practitioner’s perspective—translating economic trends into implications for business leaders, managers, and professionals navigating uncertainty.

Come for the insights, stay for the conversation. This event offers a valuable opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and gain actionable perspectives on what lies ahead for the economy in 2026.
